The Golf GTI Clubsport is the most focused version of the MK8 GTI. With tweaked suspension, bigger brakes and better tyres than the standard car, plus a power hike to 300hp it should be a match for the king of the front-wheel drive hot hatches - the Honda Civic Type R. However, the Honda has an extra 20hp at 320hp. But it's a six speed manual while the VW Golf GTI Clubsport has a seven speed dual clutch automatic.
